"my art is an interpretation of the california landscape." capturing the light and interplay of water, sky, and land anchors my work. using an acrylic medium in both small and large formats my work continues to evolve and be shaped by the beauty that comes from simply watching the sky and its interaction with the land.
my background
as a native Californian, holly graduated from scripps college in claremont, california, with a degree in art history. following a 30-year career in education and an appreciation for the arts, she is discovering new ways to express her creativity through painting. driven by her passion for creating inviting environments, holly perceives the discovery of a new medium for expressing her ideas on canvas as a gift.
